IT'S EASY BEING GREEN TV SERIES TO DEBUT ON SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2008

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 3, 2008) – The “eco-tainment” TV series It’s Easy Being Green premieres Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 12:30PM on the Fine Living network. The original series, which is produced by Distillery Pictures, is an eco-friendly lifestyle show that explores cutting edge trends and technologies in the growing green marketplace, as well as fascinating people who have a passion for sustainable living.

The show is hosted by chef and eco-consultant Renée Loux, author of the recently published book “Easy Green Living” and also features conversations with notable celebrities including Paul Newman, David Duchovny, Helen Hunt, Willie Nelson, Daryl Hannah, and John Mellencamp.

The six half-hour episodes are:

1. Paul and Nell Newman: Renée visits with Paul Newman at his restaurant The Dressing Room in Fairfield, Connecticut. Then Renée travels to Santa Cruz, California to visit Paul's daughter, Nell Newman, who started Newman's Own Organics: The Second Generation.

2. Ultimate Recycling: Renée tours Motoart, a company that turns vintage aircraft parts into museum-quality furniture, then gets the lowdown on an eco-friendly moving company that brings new meaning to “recycling.” Also, Renée meets organic chef Mark Tarbell and his “grease” car, modified Mercedes Benz.

3. Ultimate Green Home: Renée talks to Stewart + Brown, a husband-and-wife team who run their own line of 100-percent organic clothing, then tours a LEEDs certified platinum home. Also Renée has a conversation with Helen Hunt about why the actress and her family decided to lead a more green lifestyle.

4. Anyone Can Go Green: Renée meets real people who have found that even one easy thing can make a difference -- from planting trees in L.A. with TreePeople to actor Grant Show planning his new restaurant to hitting the greens in Phoenix, Arizona with unlikely golfer Alice Cooper.

5. Go Green, Go Beautiful: A fresh-air beauty salon in lower Manhattan to an eco-consulting service for your baby's nursery, Renée shows going green can also mean going beautiful. Robert Kennedy, Jr. and singer-songwriter Missy Higgins also weigh in on their life commitments to the environment.

6. Big Green: From homes that absorb 40 tons of carbon to internet giant Google's attempt to go completely carbon-neutral, Renée explores some of the biggest eco-innovations around. And it doesn’t get any bigger than Farm Aid, where Renée visits with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp.
